Beardsley's/Italian-American Social Center - B Street, San Mateo. West Coast Swing lessons every Wednesday night
Friday Night Dancers - Cubberly Pavilion, Tuesday through Saturday nights, Check calendar for times and dance type. No partner necessary.
Mariani's - 2500 El Camino Real, Santa Clara. Dancing to live music Friday and Saturday evening, 8pm. Mostly older crowd.
Santa Clara Senior Center - 1303 Fremont St at Monroe, Santa Clara. Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7:30 pm.
Starlite Dance Club - 1160 N. Fair Oaks Ave at Tasman, Sunnyvale. Lessons followed by general dancing Thursday through Sunday nights. Mixers and a wide selection of music from Fox trots and Waltzes to salsa, nightclub two step and swing. No partner necessary.

 Hike For Discovery is an adventure fundraising program based on Team in Training (TNT), the world’s largest endurance sports training program which has trained over 320,000 participants. Like TNT, whether you are an amateur or experienced hiker, Hike For Discovery’s expert certified coaches will prepare you with months of training for a hike experience like no other. Trail Center provides information and links for many city, county, regional, and state parks in the San Francisco Bay Area. They are also provide Maps and Publications.
The City of Mountain View provides hiking, boating, golfing, and other options at Shoreline at Mountain View. Another excellent location for walking and hiking is Sunnyvale Baylands Park.

The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District offers numerous hikes for you to enjoy the outdoors.  All activities are led by trained volunteer docents.  Activities are free, but some do require a reservation.
